Welcome to the Alamance Racial Equity Alliance newsletter! As we walk alongside one another in 2025, it is so very important that time is spent building relationships. A key focus of our work this year will be just that: getting to know one another and deepening those connections. We are a community of anti-racist people that encourages the transformation of thought through collective learning, meaningful relationships, and community events.

Our purpose is to end racism.

We believe in the power of community, and we know that together, we can achieve incredible things. Seeds of Change Consulting is excited to announce the second round of their community care sessions!

In a world that seeks to isolate us, coming together is an act of resistance. We firmly believe that community care is a powerful act of defiance against oppressive forces and the isolating nature of capitalist systems.

These sessions offer a safe and confidential space to connect, share experiences, and find strength in collective action. This is your opportunity to build solidarity, reclaim our community, and lean on one another to build the resilience we all need.

Join us to share your story and build the supportive network that creates a more just and equitable world.

Community Engagement

Alamance County Community Remembrance Coalition

The goal of community education is to create opportunities to promote public dialogue about the history of racial injustice and racial terror in our community in order to begin the work of repairing the harms caused from an era of enslavement, an era of racial terror lynching and violence, an era of Jim Crow segregation, and an era of mass incarceration.
