Impact Alamance is partnering with NCCJ (NC for Community and Justice) to launch the 5th cohort of the ACRE Collaborative (ACRE Co-lab).  This program is a 12-week experience that aims to equip Alamance County leaders, professionals, and community members with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to be leaders committed to fostering belonging and effectively address unfairness within systems.

The goal of community education is to create opportunities to promote public dialogue about the history of racial injustice and racial terror in our community in order to begin the work of repairing the harms caused from an era of enslavement, an era of racial terror lynching and violence, an era of Jim Crow segregation, and an era of mass incarceration.

Since 2019, Seeds of Change (SoC) has worked with individuals, foundations, faith-based groups, farmers, grassroots organizations, nonprofits, and businesses of every size to promote racial equity within their space in the community. SoC is a Black-owned, woman-owned firm, rooted in liberatory, justice-driven principles.

Collecting and preserving Alamance county's rich African American legacy, the AACAHC is a cultural site and museum in Burlington, NC.
