Winter 2026 Celebrate, Reflect, and Connect
![]() | Welcome to the Alamance Racial Equity Alliance newsletter! As we walk alongside one another in 2026, it is so very important that time is spent building relationships. A key focus of our work this year will be just that: getting to know one another and deepening those connections. We are a community of anti-racist people that encourages the transformation of thought through collective learning, meaningful relationships, and community events. |

February is a month that invites us to pause, reflect, and celebrate — and here in Alamance County, we have so much to be grateful for. As we honor Black History Month, we're reminded that the story of Black history is not just a chapter from the past; it is woven into the fabric of our community, our work, and our shared future. This month, we take time to lift up that legacy and recommit ourselves to building the equitable Alamance we all deserve.
We're excited to share what's coming up in our community this month - opportunities to gather, learn, and grow together. Whether you're a longtime ally or just finding your way to this work, there is a place for you here. Our strength has always been in our people, and we are so glad you're part of this journey.
Read on to see what's happening, how you can get involved, and how together, we continue to move forward — with purpose, with joy, and with one another.
In solidarity, The Alamance Racial Equity Alliance Team
